The Victim Services’ Coalition of the 7th Judicial Circuit, in collaboration with Halifax Health - Hospice Traumatic Loss Program, invites you to join us for a National Day of Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, September 27, 2018, 6:00 pm at the Shores Resort and Spa.
The National Day of Remembrance, for the victims and survivors of homicide and traumatic loss,is recognized each year as affirmation that the victims and those left behind have not been forgotten. The Victim Services’ Coalition of the 7th Judicial Circuit and Halifax Health - Hospice Traumatic Loss Program observe this day as a way to remember, reflect, and heal.
Please bring an unframed picture, 5” x 7” or smaller, to place on our Wall of Remembrance during the ceremony. Your picture will be returned. The Closing Ceremony will be held on the beach in front of the The Shores Resort & Spa. Please wear comfortable attire.
If you have not had the opportunity to decorate a commemorative rock,we encourage you to do so to add to the Rocks approximately 3” x 6”, decorated with waterproof acrylic paint and permanent markers is recommended.
Names of loved ones will be acknowledged during the event. If you would like your loved one’s name included or to RSVP to the event,please contact us by September 7, 2018.
