“We are honored to receive CARF accreditation for multiple programs at our facility,” said Jeremy Montz, Administrator. “This recognition reflects our team’s hard work and dedication to delivering exceptional care to our patients. We take pride in the amazing recoveries we witness every day and are thrilled to contribute to the legacy of Halifax Health providing local healthcare to the community for nearly 100 years.  Since its founding, Halifax Health | Brooks Rehabilitation has served over 8,000 patients and so many local families.”

In addition to being recognized for our inpatient stroke rehabilitation services, Halifax Health | Brooks Rehabilitation – Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation was also acknowledged as the first hospital in the area to provide intervention radiology for removing blood clots. This underscores our commitment to staying at the height of medical innovation.

Furthermore, Halifax Health and Brooks Rehabilitation offer outpatient therapy and pediatric therapy services. These collaborations extend the continuum of care beyond the inpatient setting and provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to individuals of all ages.

Brian Boon, President, and CEO of CARF International, commended Halifax Health | Brooks Rehabilitation – Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation, stating, “Your organization should take pride in achieving this high level of accreditation.
