Anthony Ombogo, MD is a board certified family medicine physician who received his Bachelor of Arts from Emmanuel College, graduated cum laude from Ross University Medical School and completed his residency at Bayfront Medical Center, where he was awarded the Charles E. Auckerman Award for Excellence in the Art of Medicine.
Dr. Ombogo has practiced family medicine in Daytona Beach since 2013. Prior to relocating to Central Florida, he worked with Georgia Healthcare System.
In addition to his regular duties as a family medicine physician, he provides healthcare to the impoverished. He is actively involved with the USF Project World Health program, where he teaches medical students and provides medical service to the indigent population of The Dominican Republic, and
participates in migrant worker clinics in eastern Georgia. He is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
His practice encompasses the full spectrum of family medicine including geriatrics, sports medicine, acute illness care, and office surgery. His areas of special expertise include heart attack and stroke prevention, diabetes prevention, medically complex patients, and all areas of preventive medicine.
