Patient Amenities

We’ll make sure your stay is as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We offer a full range of services to support the needs of our patients and their families.

Food Service

Food service availability varies by area and patient condition. Please check with the nursing staff in your unit for specific information.

Room service, similar to ordering food in a hotel, is available to patients. You will be given a menu based on your dietary needs. Meals may be ordered between 7:15 am – 9:00 pm by calling ext. 53663 from your room phone or 386.425.3663 from any other phone. Your meal will be delivered within 45 minutes. When calling to order, please notify the dietary associate if you have allergies or if you have questions about your diet and would like to speak with a Registered Dietitian.

Mail and Flowers

Mail and flowers will be delivered directly to a patient room on the general units. Mail received after discharge will be forwarded to the patient’s home address listed in our records. Flowers are not permitted in some areas including Intensive Care. Please check with your nursing staff regarding their policy

Room Amenities

Complimentary television and phone service is provided in each room. Please ask your nurse about our many patient education programs. Telecommunication devices for the hearing or speech impaired are available by contacting your nurse.

Free wireless Internet service is also provided during your hospital stay. Guest wireless access is available throughout the medical center for your convenience.

Spiritual Care

The hospital has a staff of professional chaplains who are available to assist you and your family, regardless of your religious or spiritual beliefs. To request a chaplain or other religious leader please ask a nurse to assist you. Our interdenominational chapels are located on Level 1 of the Fountain Building in the corridor opposite the Gift Shop and on Level 1 in the main lobby of the France Tower past the France Tower Café and Meeting Rooms.

Interpreter Services

It is vital you are able to communicate with your healthcare team. Please ask your nurse to arrange for an interpreter if English is not your primary language. For the hearing impaired, TDDs/TTYs, hearing-aid compatible phones and signing services are available.
