DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (August 21, 2019) – Janice Muccilli of Ormond Beach and Tom Estes of Daytona Beach have been named the Joe Petrock Auxiliary Volunteers of the Month for July and August 2019, respectively, by the Halifax Health-Auxiliary.
Muccilli is the Volunteer of the Month for July 2019. A member of the Halifax Health-Auxiliary since 2017, she has donated nearly 600 hours of service as an information desk volunteer at Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach.
“Janice engages with visitors and brings smiles to their faces. She is a great volunteer and we appreciate everything she does for us,” says Laura Dickason, information desk supervisor.
Tom Estes, the Volunteer of the Month for August 2019, has been a member of the Halifax Health-Auxiliary for more than 12 years. During that time, he has donated more than 4,066 hours of volunteer service. Estes currently serves as a courtesy cart driver twice a week at Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach.
“Tom is truly a valued member of the Halifax Health team. This summer, he has stepped up when needed and volunteered for extra shifts. He has a can-do attitude and a welcoming smile for everyone at the hospital,” explains Halifax Health-Auxiliary President Cynthia Rose.
Along with the honor of being named Volunteers of the Month, Muccilli and Estes each received a gift card and are nominees for the auxiliary’s Volunteer of the Year award.
