Williamson Named Joe Petrock Auxiliary Volunteer of the Month for September

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (September 18, 2017) – F. Irene Williamson of Daytona Beach has been named the Joe Petrock Auxiliary Volunteer of the Month for September 2017 by the Halifax Health - Auxiliary.

Williamson became an Auxiliary member in 2002.  During that time, she has volunteered in Halifax Health Medical Center’s medical library, surgical waiting room, the Auxiliary office, and at the France Tower Information Desk.  In addition, she has assisted with patient transport and has generously volunteered her time in other positions around the hospital as needed.

Over the past 15 years, Williamson has held various Auxiliary offices, including corresponding secretary and assistant treasurer.  She has also assisted with the organization’s fundraisers, bookkeeping for the gift shop and served as editor and publisher of the Auxiliary’s monthly newsletter.  Williamson currently volunteers in Halifax Health’s wellness center.
