Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach is a 678-bed hospital. All major medical and surgical services are available. The 24-hours emergency department (ED) includes the area's only Level II Trauma Center and the only Pediatric ED.

Visiting Hours

Use our check-in service to reserve care for non-life threatening conditions. Patients are seen based on the severity of their illness or injury. Our care team will see you as close to your check-in time as possible.

General Visiting Hours
6:00 am - 8:00 pm, subject to nurse or physician discretion and patient condition

Critical Care: (4th & 5th floor)
24 hours a day, subject to nurse or physician discretion and patient condition

Labor & Delivery
There are no standard visiting ours for the Center for Women & Infant Health, however we ask that you please be mindful of our resting mothers and babies. If you plan to visit after 8:00 pm you will be asked to enter the hospital through our Main ED entrance. 

Speediatrics
Parents, guardians and/or grandparents may visit any time day or night, with special passes provided by the Pediatric Department.

Adult Psychiatric Center

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, Monday through Friday
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, Saturday, Sunday and holidays
Additional hours for geriatric patients 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday
