Halifax Health – Ophthalmology provides comprehensive care for individuals who need guidance and care for conditions and diseases of their eyes.
We offer a full range of eye care, from routine eye exams to surgical procedures that help treat or cure common, rare, or complex eye conditions. Such conditions include cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, macular degeneration, and other eye diseases that occur inside the eye and related to nerves within the eye.
We also offer vision care that includes eye vision checkups and lens prescriptions.
Ophthalmologist at this location:
Dr. Nishita Patel is an ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive eye care and cataract and lens implant surgery. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, and her doctorate of medicine from Florida State University College of Medicine. She completed her internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center and completed her ophthalmology residency at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Patel is a clinical instructor for Florida State University College of Medicine, and enjoys giving educational seminars to the local community. Dr. Patel was recently named Chief of Ophthalmology at Halifax Health.
