President and Chief Executive Officer

Jeff Feasel has a long history of providing visionary and strategic healthcare leadership. He began his career in Ohio where he spent 16 years directing essential business operations for the Medical College of Ohio Hospitals in Toledo and Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green. In April of 2000, Mr. Feasel joined Halifax where he filled critical roles including Chief Operating Officer, President/CEO of Patient Business and Financial Services and Vice President of Halifax Community Health System. In January of 2005, he was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Halifax Health.

During his tenure, Halifax Health has expanded its services throughout Volusia County to include three medical centers, three Hospice Inpatient Care Centers, a home health agency, urgent care centers and numerous ambulatory physician practices including over 14 medical specialties and programs through a partnership with UF Health.   Under his leadership, Halifax Health has continued its mission as the community’s leading healthcare system, offering the area’s only Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Kidney Transplant Program, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the only CARF-accredited  Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation and Halifax Health – UF Health Cardiothoracic, Vascular and Neurosurgical programs. His continued advocacy for comprehensive mental health programs has led to the only adult as well as child and adolescent mental health services in the region.

In addition to UF Health, Mr. Feasel’s long-standing vision of leveraging state and community resources in order to enhance services locally has resulted in successful partnerships between Halifax Health and other entities including the Volusia County Sheriff’s Department, SMA Health, Easter Seals, Brooks Rehabilitation, Florida State University, Daytona State College and more.

He serves in leadership roles for multiple community organizations including the Civic League of the Halifax Area, Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce, Daytona Beach Community Foundation, Healthy Communities Board, Halifax Insurance Plan Board, and Florida State University Community Advisory Board.  He is an active member of state and national healthcare organizations including the Florida Hospital Association Board, Safety Net Hospital Association Board, Vizient SE Board, and America’s Essential Hospital Policy Committee and Membership Committee.

Always an advocate for education, Mr. Feasel has served on the Bethune Cookman University Business Advisory Board, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Board of Trustees and Daytona Beach Youth Mentoring Program Advisory Board,

He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and Healthcare Financial Management Association and received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio.
