Quit-Smoking Tools: Help for Kicking Your Habit  Quit Smoking Today

Every year, on the third Thursday of November, the American Cancer Society holds the Great American Smokeout event (Nov. 15, 2018). This is a time when health care providers, family and friends can encourage others to quit smoking and provide them with the support and tools they need to succeed.

According to the American Cancer Society, “by quitting – even for 1 day – smokers will be taking an important step toward a healthier life and reducing their cancer risk.”
