Volunteers Needed for Halifax Health – Hospice BeginAgain Children’s Grief Centers

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (March 8, 2017) – The Halifax Health – Hospice Lawrence E. Whelan BeginAgain Children’s Grief Centers are in need of volunteers for both the Daytona Beach and DeLand locations.

Compassionate individuals are sought to volunteer to facilitate groups for grieving children and their families.  A free comprehensive training program will be offered by a licensed professional that includes the skills needed to work in this healing environment.

Halifax Health – Hospice Grief Centers were established to serve the needs of children and adults who have lost loved ones.  Services include support groups, twice yearly memorial services, special events and workshops, children’s grief services and an award-winning traumatic loss program.  The centers’ supportive, experiential approach has proven to make a difference for children and their families during the grieving process.
