Ken Houk and Teddy Named Joe Petrock Auxiliary Volunteers of the Month for March 2019

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (March 12, 2019) – Ormond Beach residents Ken Houk and Teddy have been named the Joe Petrock Auxiliary Volunteers of the Month for March 2019 by the Halifax Health - Auxiliary.

Since becoming Halifax Health volunteers in February 2018, Houk and Teddy, have donated more than 668 hours of service.  As members of the Halifax Health - Auxiliary Therapy Dog Team, Houk and Teddy visit with patients and participate in a variety of hospital activities and events.

"They respond whenever a text goes out.  This team is outstanding and goes above and beyond what is required," says Halifax Health - Auxiliary Corresponding Secretary Tami Collins.
