Albert Williams, Sr. Named Joe Petrock Auxiliary Volunteer of the Month for February 2019

 

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (February 25, 2019) – Albert Williams, Sr. of Daytona Beach has been named the Joe Petrock Auxiliary Volunteer of the Month for February 2019 by the Halifax Health - Auxiliary.

Williams has been a dedicated Halifax Health volunteer since June 2009.  In total, Williams, who volunteers weekly as a courtesy cart driver at Halifax Health Medical Center’s Daytona Beach campus, has donated more than 1,722 hours of service.

“Mr. Williams is an excellent ambassador for Halifax Health.  He is always very friendly, and no matter the weather, he is always there each Wednesday to assist with pick-ups, drop-offs and directions,” says Tangela Boyd, public relations specialist for Halifax Health.  Boyd adds, “His dedication to Halifax Health and our patients and visitors is much appreciated.”
