Ben Eby

Vice President/Administrator, Halifax Hospital Port Orange & Medical Center of Deltona

Ben joined Halifax Health in 2015 as the Director of Finance for Halifax Health Hospice and Palliative Care and assumed the Executive Director role in 2020.  During his tenure, Ben has successfully led and grown the organization both locally and in Central Florida culminating in its current designation as the Top Rated and Most Recommended Hospice in Central Florida.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Thomas Edison State University in New Jersey and a Masters of Business Administration, Healthcare Management from the Florida Institute of Technology.  In addition, Ben holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) license through the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.  Prior to relocating to Florida in 2013, he had eight years of progressive management experience with a Toronto-based national healthcare company.

Ben is very active in the Port Orange community as well as Volusia County currently serving on the Board of the Rotary Club of Port Orange – South Daytona and as a Board member for the Council on Aging of Volusia County and the Florida Hospice & Palliative Care Association.

Ben lives in Flagler Beach with his wife Debra and their four children and is passionate about the role of Halifax Health within our community.
