Naming Opportunities

Naming opportunities are available for those who desire to leave an everlasting memorial of a loved one. Halifax Health – Hospice Care Centers are located throughout Volusia County in Ormond Beach, Port Orange, Edgewater, and Orange City. If you would like more information, please contact Fund Development at 386.425.4701 or hospicefundev@halifax.org.

Memorial Walks

Honor a loved one with a donation to one of four Memorial Walks located at our four Care Centers. The Walks themselves are paved with bricks and are along a serene walkway at the Care Center. For a small donation, you can have your personal message engraved on a brick or engraved on a bronze plaque. Create a testament to that special person who has touched your life, or a lasting tribute to a family or group, or even mark a special occasion like a birth or marriage by participating in our Buy-A-Brick program.

Memorial Walk items available for purchase include the following:

  • 4″ x 8″ brick for a donation of $150
  • 8″ x 8″ brick for a donation of $300
  • 12″x12″ bronze plaque for a donation of $2,000
  • Bench personalization for a donation of $4,000

Forms can be mailed in or emailed to hospicefundev@halifax.org.

Family Caregiver Program

Halifax Health – Hospice encourages family caregivers to take care of themselves. Our Family Caregiver Program is designed to provide additional support to our family caregivers. Donations made to the Family Caregiver Program will directly benefit family members caring for their loved ones.

Volunteer Projects

Our volunteers are heavily involved in community outreach efforts throughout Volusia, Flagler, Orange and Osceola counties. Donations made to volunteer projects will allow for food to be sent out to families who are unable to provide meals during major holiday seasons.

Tree Of Remembrance

During the winter holiday season, ornaments and memory tags are available by donation to support Halifax Health – Hospice. Our Holiday Collection is available year round and can be seen here.

Please visit our display at the Volusia Mall in Daytona Beach during November and December to show your support. As recognition of your donation for our exclusive ornaments and collectibles, your loved one’s name will be placed on our Tree of Remembrance with a personalized Memory/Honor Tag. This annual fundraiser allows us to continue providing medical, emotional and spiritual support to our patients and their families.
