In 2016, Schandel played a key role in the establishment of NASCAR’s landmark new charter system for its premier series. In 2012, Schandel led the financial negotiations of the merger between Grand American Road Racing and the American Le Mans Series. The unification of these two series resulted in the formation of International Motor Sports Association (IMSA), America’s premier sports car racing sanctioning body in North America.
Prior to joining ISC, Schandel was employed by Ernst & Young where she served a variety of public and private clients, including motorsports and manufacturing.

A native of New York, Schandel earned a B.S. in Accounting with High Distinction from Penn State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
