The health care team includes neurologists, nurses, psychologists, speech therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and others, who address the various aspects of a patient's complex medical condition.
The Neurology Center offers the latest diagnostic technologies including electroencephalogram (EEG),electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies, EMG evoked potentials and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In addition, Halifax Health Medical Center is the first hospital in central Florida to be nationally certified and designated as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by the Agency for Health Care Administration.
