Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVICU)
The cardiovascular intensive care unit contains seven beds and provides intensive care services to post-cardiac surgery patients. This includes patients requiring coronary bypass grafting, valve replacement, aortic reconstructions and any combination of cardio-thoracic surgery. The nursing staff and other health care professionals who provide care in the unit are dedicated to the intensive care of cardiac patients.
