Halifax Health has the only heart attack program in Florida to be recognized by both The Joint Commission and the Society of Chest Pain Centers for commitment to excellence in heart attack care.

Chest Pain Evaluation

Each year more than 3,500 patients come to Halifax Health's Emergency Departments with chest pain. After being evaluated by a medical professional, many of these patients are admitted to the Halifax Health - Center for Chest Pain for extensive evaluation and determination of the best course of treatment.

If a patient is experiencing a heart attack or similar episode he/she will immediately be seen by a cardiologist for further evaluation.
