Psychosocial Counseling
Dealing with cancer means coping, planning and taking actions to manage the disease and treatment. It is natural to feel strong emotions when cancer occurs. Counseling services can often help you to process feelings, boost coping skills and gain a greater sense of control as an active participant in your care. We also offer educational and support groups, counseling and relaxation training.
We have a licensed mental health counselor here at the Center for Oncology. Individual, couples and family counseling are available to you. Counseling can help in sorting out information, feelings and other issues that arise with a cancer diagnosis.
If you would like to make an appointment for counseling or speak with our Psychosocial Counselor, call 386.254.4211. If our counselor is unavailable, please leave a message on the confidential voice mail.
Education and Support Groups
Our support groups include a breast cancer support group, a children's group, a caregiver's group and a meditation group. We invite you to attend our groups or call for more information 386.254.4211.
