We would like to introduce you to our state of the art Comprehensive Cancer Program.

The Halifax Health Centers for Oncology provide outpatient cancer treatment as part of the Halifax Medical Center Comprehensive Cancer Program, accredited by the Commission on Cancer since 1956.

Affiliations with national research centers enable gynecologic, medical and radiation oncologists at Halifax to offer patients the very latest and most promising treatments available through national research trials.

The Centers for Oncology programs include outpatient medical and radiation oncology services; a specialized gynecologic oncologist, the Breast Health Center; hereditary cancer risk assessment, counseling and support groups; clinical research; screening and detection services, Tumor Registry cancer data system and the Josephine Field Davidson Cancer Resource Library.

The Halifax Health cancer program also offers a specialized inpatient oncology unit on the main campus in Daytona Beach.

Outpatient services are provided at Halifax Health's Medical Centers located in Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Port Orange, and offered jointly with Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach.

Halifax Health's mission statement involved many individuals: the Board of Commissioners, physicians, administrators, and staff. It represents Halifax Health's continued commitment to the community we serve.
