Community Involvement
The Halifax Health Center for Oncology is actively involved and partners with such organizations as the American Cancer Society, the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, to provide cancer information and resources to patients and their families. Halifax Health works with other local, state and national organizations to advance research into cancer and to assist those living with the disease.
With 4 medical oncology and 3 radiation oncology locations, the Halifax Health Center for Oncology provide convenient access to care for residents of Volusia and Flagler Counties.
Staff and physicians participate in events such as the Komen Race for the Cure, Making Strides, We Can Weekend, Celebration of Life, Relay for Life and many other community based activities.
Speakers Bureau
Our Speakers Bureau consists of physicians, and staff committed to help educate our communities on general cancer topics, clinical trials, hereditary cancer assessments, and general information of services offered in our community. The range of available topics is equally vast and includes:

- Clinical Trails and advances in Cancer Research
- Breast Health and screening programs
