Same Day Surgery

Halifax Health Medical Center offers many same day surgery procedures. Convenience is the major benefit to patients receiving same day surgery. The patient may check in, receive the appropriate treatment and education and be dismissed from the hospital all in the same day. From admission to treatment to recovery, the goal of the same day surgery staff is to make each patient's brief stay at Halifax Health Medical Center as comfortable as possible and to patient's return home confident in the knowledge that they are on their road to recovery. Same day surgery is performed in the medical center's surgical services area.
