Dr. Blaum's education includes a BA fromUniversity of Notre Dame and a Doctor of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He was Chief Resident in General Surgery and Clinical Instructor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/RobertWood Johnson, where he also completed his General Surgery Residency. He has also completed an Advanced Surgical Residency and Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the University of South Florida/Tampa General Hospital in Tampa. Dr. Blaum has served as a Major in the United States Air Force Reserve since 2000 and is a candidate for the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Brenner is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and serves in various locations within East Central Florida. He also holds the Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) for surgery of the hand, awarded by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He completed his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and performed his residencies at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in Roosevelt Hospital Center in Roosevelt, New York and SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn in Brooklyn, New York. His hand surgery fellowship was completed with H. Kirk Watson, MD in Hartford, Connecticut. He is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Association for Hand Surgery.
Dr. DeMercurio attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and graduated with honors in Biology. After graduating from Wayne State University School of Medicine, he completed his general surgery residency at Detroit Medical Center and a Plastic Surgery Fellowship also at Detroit Medical Center. Dr. DeMercurio participated in a Hand Surgery Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and has given numerous presentations relating to Breast Reconstruction, Carpal Instability and Head and Neck Cancer among others. Dr. DeMercurio is a member of the American Medical Society and a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
