Webster defines 'metamorphosis' as the series of changes in shape and functions that certain animals go through as they develop. At 63 years of age I went through metamorphosis with the help of East Coast Bariatrics!

On December 27, 2010 I had the Roux-en-Y and as of this date, 120 days, later I've lost 65 pounds of 'fluff' - aka fat! I am no longer on insulin twice a day, metformin 2500 mg. daily, high blood pressure Rx, or cholesterol Rx!!! I feel wonderful, as one might imagine without carrying around 65 pounds. My gait is different, my shape is different and certainly my humanly functions are different.

Thanks to Dr. Sebastien and Dr. Baldassarri and their wonderful professional staff for exemplary support and guidance. I feel as though I am a new person. I've always been a high energy person but even more so now.
