- An inpatient unit featuring 32 monitored beds
- A dedicated consultation room where physicians can meet with families

We also offer a full range of cardiac and vascular services including:
- Cardiac catheterizations and interventions such as placement of drug-coated stents
- Peripheral vascular angiography and interventions
- Echocardiography
- Tilt table testing

If surgical intervention is required, Halifax Health - Center for Cardiology provides:
- Three dedicated surgical suites
- A seven bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- A 23-bed Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit
Post hospital resources include a comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program. Heart patients receive an individually customized plan featuring exercise, nutrition and appropriate therapies.
