Rhonda Verzal, MD
Dr. Verzal attended Loyola University in Chicago as an undergraduate majoring in Biology with Chemistry minor. While attending Loyola, Rhonda was awarded the Horton M. Kellogg Volunteer of the Year Award for starting an after-school science program called Chem Kids, which still continues today. Dr. Verzal received her MD degree from University of Illinois at Chicago. While in medical school, Dr. Verzal spent time working with underserved patients at The Joshua Center, a health clinic and shelter for mothers and their children. She also actively participated in Neuropsychiatric research throughout her time in medical school, presenting at several international conferences. Outside of medicine, Rhonda enjoys running and spending time with her husband, Joe, and two-year-old daughter, Alayna.
