Dr. Jonathan Treece attended Arkansas State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Sciences in Biology and a minor in chemistry. During his undergraduate education he was the recipient of many awards for his role in research on the harmful effects of smoking during pregnancy. Dr. Treece earned his MD at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. In medical school he served as the copresident of the Rural Medicine Student Leadership Association where he was active in the advancement of rural medicine. Jonathan enjoys many hobbies such as soccer, basketball, golf, table tennis, fishing, juggling and wakeboarding. He and his wife, Leslie, enjoy traveling, cooking and watching movies.
