Dr. Eliacin attended the University of Miami as an undergraduate majoring in Microbiology and Immunology. While at University of Miami, Irmanie received several awards, Dean's List, National Collegiate Scholars Program, General Honors Program, P. Scneller scholarship, Haitian American Engineering Scholarship (HAES) and UM Alumni Scholarship. Dr. Eliacin received her MD degree from Florida State University College of Medicine. In medical school, Irmanie was co-editor of SNMA's monthly e-newsletter that distributed monthly health information and updates to the student body and school administration. Irmanie was also the Historian and Secretary of SNMA. Irmanie also volunteered time with Gadsen County Migrant health fair, Sickle Cell Screening health fair and the Women's Health Fair. Irmanie's interests outside of medicine include spending time with family, especially here niece and nephew (Jaz'nae and Kan'yeh), watching reality TV and spending time with good friends. | ||
