Dr. Bukac attended the University of North Florida (UNF) as an undergraduate majoring in psychology and English and continued on to receive a Masters in Health Administration. Before entering medical school, Amy worked for the Florida Department of Health's Bureau of Laboratories where she assisted in the development of a state plan for chemical terrorism events. Dr. Bukac then went on to receive her MD degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. In medical school, Amy was an active member of many groups including the American Medical Student Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and served as treasurer for the Family Medicine Interest Group. Outside of medicine, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, Jan while they camp, fish, hike, scuba dive and travel. As a brand new mother, Amy is especially enjoying time spent with their little baby girl, Evelyn. | ||
