Julie I. Brown, MD

Dr. Brown attended the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign as an undergraduate majoringin Integrative Biology with a minor in Chemistry. There she spent time doing breast cancer research with Dr. Helferich, being a Deacon at University Baptist Church, and doing community service including disaster relief to New Orleans. Dr. Brown received her MD degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. While in medical school Julie held many leadership roles including being the President of Family Medicine Interest Group. She was the recipient of the Adam Kuhn and Zelda Ryder Scholarships. When Julie is not volunteering or working, she enjoys running, rock climbing, wake boarding, and skiing with her husband, Seth.
