Dr. Broadwater attended Georgia State University as an undergraduate majoring in biology. While there, Ebony was a Dean's List and Faculty Scholar and received the university's Biology Presidential Assistantship Award. Ebony also served as a Residency Hall Floor Director in her senior year. Dr. Broadwater attended Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) where she earned her MD degree. At Morehouse, Ebony actively served in leadership roles as a member in several associations including the American Medical Student Association, the Student National Medical Association and the Golden Key International Honor Society. Ebony also cofounded and developed the curriculum for the MSM BRIDGE Program that counsels inner city youth ages 12-17 on responsible decision making and healthy lifestyles. She received the Merit Scholarship for full tuition at Morehouse, and several Scholastic Excellence Awards. Ebony likes to spend her free time with family and friends, listening to music, watching movies and interior design. | ||
