Halifax Health to Host Live Online Surgery

Halifax Health will present a live online breast implant procedure Tuesday, September 29 at 7 pm. Halifax Health - Center for Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery physician Scott J. Loessin, MD, FACS will perform the procedure.

Dr. Loessin, a board certified plastic surgeon, has more than 15 years of experience performing plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. He will be joined by board certified plastic surgeon William Palin, MD, FACS and Jeffrey DeMercurio, MD who will provide commentary and answer questions from the audience.

"With any surgery there is always a risk. Anyone who is considering plastic surgery should factor this into their decision," said Dr. Loessin. "A medical center is always safer than an outpatient setting. Also, we do more plastic surgery here than any other facility in our region and the whole team has the experience to deal with any eventuality. This peace of mind along with our understanding staff and terrific results make our Center a great choice for these procedures."

The surgery may be viewed at halifaxhealth.org or the public is invited to attend a viewing at Halifax Health Medical Center's France Tower. To reserve a seat, please call 877.8.HALIFAX.

Podcasts and vodcasts of the event will be available through You Tube, Google, Yahoo, MSN and iTunes. The procedure will also be archived on the Halifax Health Web site.
