Speediatrics Receives $25,000 Grant from Tournament Proceeds

The 2009 Hot Rods & Reels Fishing Tournament was a huge success. Taking place on February 13 in the Daytona International Speedway Infield on Lake Lloyd, the Tournament is an annual fundraiser for the Darrell Gwynn Foundation, which uses proceeds for education and awareness initiatives, funding research, and the purchase of custom wheelchairs for children and young adults suffering from spinal cord injuries or debilitating diseases.

The Halifax Health Betty Jane France - Center for Pediatrics, "Speediatrics" received a $25,000 grant from the proceeds of the tournament.
