Halifax Health Foundation Hosts 80th Anniversary Appreciation Event for Medical Staff

Halifax Health Foundation hosted an 80th Anniversary appreciation event for the medical staff on Friday, October 3 at the Mori Hosseini Center at Daytona State College. Dignitaries in attendance to honor and recognize Halifax Health physicians included Senator Evelyn Lynn, Daytona Beach Mayor Glenn Ritchey, Volusia County Chairman Frank Bruno, Halifax Health President & CEO Jeff Feasel and Halifax Health Foundation President Bill Olivari.

Although unable to attend the appreciation event, Florida Governor Charlie Crist sent a letter to personally show his appreciation for the devotion of the medical staff at Halifax Health.

"As Governor of the state of Florida, it is my desire that all Floridians have access to proper healthcare and medical attention," the letter said. "For 80 years, Halifax Health has provided comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for the citizens of Central Florida … We are fortunate to have facilities like Halifax Health meeting the healthcare needs of the citizens of the Sunshine State."

Halifax Health medical staff and friends enjoyed an elegant evening of socializing.
