Joe Petrock
Executive Director, Halifax Health Foundation
Joe Petrock is the Halifax Health's Executive Director of Halifax Health Foundation and Government Relations, joining Halifax Health in 2002. He was previously the BellSouth Executive in charge of Volusia and Flagler counties.
Petrock has served on the boards or been President of 20 county organizations, ranging from the Daytona/Halifax Area Chamber, Junior Achievement, FUTURES Education Foundation for Volusia County Schools, Florida International Festival, United Way, the March of Dimes, the United Negro College Fund to the Volusia Manufacturing Association.
He has served as Chairman of the Board of trustees for Daytona State College; served on the board of trustees for Bethune-Cookman University; and is a past President of the Daytona Beach Rotary Club.
Petrock has been recognized for his civic involvement numerous times including the United Way Community Service Award, March of Dimes, Florida Association of Community Colleges, National Association of Community Leaders, The Daytona Halifax Area Chamber, State School Board Association and most recently he received the USA Freedom Corps Volunteer Service Award, presented to him by President George W. Bush during his visit to Daytona Beach.
Mr. Petrock is a graduate of Daytona State College and Florida Tech.
