Lori Myers
Chief Nursing Officer
Lori Myers has served as the chief nursing officer for
Halifax Health since 2005. She joined the organization in 1997, serving as the
nurse manager of the heart center and part of the team that opened the cardiac surgery
program at Halifax
Health Medical
Center. During those
years, she also filled roles as interim manager of the surgical intensive care
unit and the cardiac catheterization labs.
Prior to her move to Florida,
Myers spent seven years in nurse management at Grant
Medical Center in Columbus, OH, and started her nursing career at Riverside Methodist Hospitals in Columbus, OH.
Myers, a critical care registered nurse, is a member of the
American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), is a past president of the
Central Ohio Chapter of AACN, and is a basic life support and an advanced
cardiac life support instructor.
She has an associate degree in nursing from Parkland College,
a bachelor of science in nursing from Franklin
University, Columbus,
OH, and a master of science in nursing from Wright State
University, Dayton, OH.
