Dan Lang
Administrator Halifax Health Medical Center
Dan Lang has a long history with Halifax Health, joining as
an Assistant Administrator in October 1982. Mr. Lang was promoted to
Administrator of Operations in August 1994, and to Administrator in July 1997.
Mr. Lang is a member of the American Hospital Association, a
Life member of the NAACP and an active member in the Daytona Beach Rotary. He
has also served on the American Red Cross, the Daytona Beach Chamber of
Commerce, the United Way,
Crimestoppers and the Volusia County Hurricane
Preparedness Conference.
Prior to joining Halifax Health, Mr. Lang was with Louis A. Weiss Memorial
Hospital, Chicago,
IL from 1981-82, and was a healthcare
management consultant with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, Chicago, IL
from 1980-81. He also served at St. Anthony Hospital in Columbus, OH, and worked
as an emergency paramedic at North Memorial Hospital
in Minneapolis, MN.
Mr. Lang holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota
and a master's degree in hospital administration from Ohio State University.
