Bill Griffin
Director of System Research and Planning
Bill Griffin is Director of System Research and Planning at
Halifax Health. Mr. Griffin has been a member of the Halifax Health Medical Center
executive team since 1982. Prior to joining Halifax Health, he was a hospital
management consultant with Ernst & Young.
Mr. Griffin has a history of service, involvement and
community leadership. He is a member of the Daytona Beach West Rotary Club and
serves on the District Youth Exchange and Fund Committees —holding the
Assistant District Governor role from 2004 - 2006. Mr. Griffin is scheduled to
become District Governor for northeast Florida Rotary Clubs (District 6970) in
July 2008.
In addition to Rotary, he is on the board of The Hospice of
Volusia/Flagler and Community Based Care of Volusia/Flagler. He has served on
several other community boards and task forces and has been involved for
several years as a coach in youth recreational leagues. Bill is also a graduate
of Leadership Daytona.
Griffin received his Bachelor
of Science degree from St. Lawrence University in upstate New
York and his masters in hospital administration from Ohio State
University. He also
served in the U.S. Air Force.
