David Davidson
General Counsel
David Davidson is general counsel for Halifax Health,
holding the position since December 1991.
He is currently a member of the American Health Lawyers
Association and the Health Law Section of the Florida Bar as well as various
bar organizations. Mr. Davidson is a past Chairman of the Volusia County Bar
Association Medical/Legal Liaison Committee, and speaks frequently on numerous
healthcare issues.
Mr. Davidson has been a member of the Bethune Cookman University Board of Counselors since 1998, and
currently serves on that board's Executive Committee and Scholarship Panel.
He is an active community leader, serving as a two term
member of the Ormond Beach Leisure Services Board and on the boards of several
youth athletics organizations. Mr. Davidson is active in his church, and has
been involved in various entertainment industry projects at the local,
national, and international level.
Mr. Davidson received his bachelor's and law degrees from
the University of Florida, and has been
board certified in health law by the Florida Bar since 1995.
