Clinical Ladder
The Clinical Ladder program was developed by and for registered nurses (RNs) that provide bedside patient care. This ongoing development of professional practice provides a system for professional nurses to be recognized for the positive impact on patient outcomes and on the profession of nursing.
Participants are required to place emphasis on evidence based practices, process and culture changes to improve practice, promote patient safety and provide quality care. The program:
- Recognizes and rewards clinical expertise and clinical excellence
- Provides incentives to increase and broaden current clinical competence
- Improves patient outcomes through the professional practice of bedside nursing
Tuition Loan and Reimbursement Programs
Tuition Reimbursement is available to all FT/PT benefit eligible employees. Halifax Health will reimburse the employee for the cost of tuition for successfully completed classes. Eligible employees may be reimbursed up to $1,500 per calendar year.
