Don Quinn
Assistant Secretary
A native of Pennsylvania, Don Quinn has been a resident of Daytona Beach since 1962. He graduated from Daytona Beach Community College and has a degree in radio and television broadcasting from the Career Academy in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was appointed to the Halifax Health board in May 2001 and has served as Vice Chairman since 2005.
Mr. Quinn has been in the insurance business since 1986, and with the Berlin and Denys agency since 1991. He was a regional Vice President of the Florida Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors for three years. Quinn has also served three times as President of the Daytona Beach Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and was named Advisor of the Year twice.
He also has a history of public and community service. Quinn served 12 years on the Volusia County Board of Adjustments and was Chairman for two years. He served as Vice Chairman of the county planning board and served as Chairman of the Volusia County Republican executive committee from 1994 to 1996. He was a delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1996.
He has been married to his wife, Alma since 1972. They have two daughters and four grandsons.
