Halifax Health Is on Facebook and Other Sites

Halifax Health knows that the members of our community are using the Internet more and more every day — and we are, too. To help you take charge of your health, we’re offering information on various Web sites:

Facebook — More than half a million people join Facebook each day to keep up with friends, upload photos and share links. Halifax Health has a fan page, where you can find news and updates about us and updates about health services that will benefit you.

Twitter — Twitter gives users a quick and easy way to share short status updates with people who follow their profile. To keep updates interesting and timely, Halifax Health posts daily messages — or “tweets” — featuring national health news, video clips and event updates.

CarePages.com — To help patients stay in touch with loved ones before, during and after hospitalization, Halifax Health offers a complimentary service that enables them to create a CarePage — a private, customized Web site that’s like a blog.

Jacob’s Blog — Are you wondering how the construction of Halifax Health’s North Tower is coming along? Want the inside scoop? For updates, visit looktothetower.org and read a blog by Jacob Nagib, the project manager.

halifaxhealth.org — When you visit the Halifax Health Web site and want to share news and event updates with a friend, you can click on a link and easily forward the information to someone’s e-mail address or other social media account.

To receive all the latest updates on Halifax Health, find us on Facebook and Twitter and visit looktothetower.org to read Jacob’s Blog.
