In February, the Halifax Health Foundation partnered with NASCAR and the Daytona International Speedway’s Checkered Flag Committee to host the 35th Annual NASCAR Celebrity Charity Golf Classic, which was presented by Kitson & Partners.

Thirty-four teams participated in the tournament, which raised a record-breaking $250,000 for the Halifax Health — Betty Jane France Center for Pediatrics, also known as Speediatrics, and Checkered Flag charities.

The event kicked off with a putting clinic at LPGA International and a Speedweeks Pairing Party at the Daytona 500 Experience. The next day, participants were paired with NASCAR drivers and other sports celebrities, as well as a golf professional, for nine holes of golf followed by an awards luncheon.
