head of the Radiology Department at
Halifax Health Medical Center in 1956.
He had a unique vision of how cancer
services could be provided, recognizing
the need for a comprehensive,
organized approach in all areas of
care, from prevention and detection to
treatment and research.
Herbert D. Kerman, MD, has committed
Dr. Kerman helped found The Hospice
of Volusia/Flagler and the Regional
Oncology Center. For his display of
excellence in the field of radiation
oncology, he was also recently honored
as a Fellow by the American Society for
Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
