Halifax Health President and CEO Jeff Feasel proudly accepted a $150,000 check from The NASCAR Foundation. The contribution will benefit the Halifax Health Foundation and the Betty Jane France Center for Speediatrics, a racing-themed pediatric unit that occupies the sixth floor at Halifax Health Medical Center.

“As a community hospital, our mission is to continue providing high-quality healthcare for the residents of East Central Florida,” Feasel said. “We want to thank Betty Jane France, The NASCAR Foundation and the entire NASCAR family for their support of Halifax Health and Speediatrics.”

The NASCAR Foundation Board Chairman Betty Jane France presented the check to Halifax Health from the proceeds of NASCAR Day 2007, which raised more than $1.5 million for the NASCAR Foundation family of charities.
